Mailbox settings modification - Windows Live Mail
1. Please open Windows Live Mail. If you see a security warning, just click on the button "Yes" to confirm. It's not a system error, it happens, because the system generated a self signed certificate to enable mailbox secure communication. In normal way there's a certification, which was signed by an official certification provider company.
2. Choose the "Accounts" tab at the top of the window and click on the "Properties" toolbar item:
3. You must change your server settings, so click on the "Servers" tab in the popup window. Change the "Incoming mail" and "Outgoing mail" setting. To complete these steps, fill out the neccessary fields with text: mail.mik.uni-pannon.hu. After that please check your username field. Please note, that your correct username in the new system is your e-mail address:
4. Click on "Advanced" tab to specify the mailer systems's secure protocol configuration. Fill out the neccessary fields as you see below:
If you're ready, please check your client functionality. Send a test message and click on the "Send/Receive" button on the program's toolbar.
