Mailbox settings modification - Outlook Express
1. Please open Outlook Express. If you see a security warning, just click on the button "Yes" to confirm. It's not a system error, it happens, because the system generated a self signed certificate to enable mailbox secure communication. In normal way there's a certification, which was signed by an official certification provider company.
2. Choose the "Accounts" menu item from the "Tools" menu:
3. Click on the "Mail" tab, and select default mailing configuration from the list. If you're ready, just click on the "Properties" button:
4. Select the "Servers" tab and modify your incoming and outgoing mail server name by filling out the neccessary fields with the text: mail.mik.uni-pannon.hu. After that please check your "Account name" field. Please note, that your correct username in the new system is your e-mail address:
5. Click on the "Advanced" tab to specify the mail system's secure protocol configuration. Fill out the neccessary fields as you see below:
If you're ready, please check your client functionality. Send a test message and click on the "Send/Receive" button on the program's toolbar.
